I have coordinated and been in countless weddings, my friends joke that I was the character from the book “27 Dresses.” Needless to say, I have had several experiences with deejays. Some good some horrific. I knew I wanted a professional with a personal touch and since I was getting married on Bald Head Island I would have to find this pro through references. From the moment I spoke with Tommy and Teresa on the phone I knew I was in best of hands. They were professional and provided great tools like an online planner to help me think about how I wanted the night to flow. Not only was the sound and music flawless but Tommy had a great way of getting the crowd going at the best moments. Our feet are still sore from dancing the night away. But the best thing about Tommy and Teresa, that really sets them apart from the rest, is their incredible kindness. They came early and were set-up when walked in the house. I was completely relaxed because not only were they ready to go but Tommy was helping my family with last minute details and even helped to make my grandmother’s crab dip. He was part of the family and everyone adored him. In fact, Tommy was the first one to send me photos of my wedding. I could not be happier about my experience with Shoresound- On every level- they exceeded my every expectation and my family all wants Tommy’s e-mail. Thank you both for a GREAT night.

"We knew the moment we met Tommy and Teresa Robbins, at the Southport Wedding Expo, they were the perfect fit for us. Both are down-to-earth and the most genuine people you will ever meet. Shoresound Productions offers a deejay, a live band or both. How cool is that?! Their website is user-friendly and even has an online event planner. This was so helpful when planning the timeline of events for the evening. Tommy is very experienced in the music industry and was able to accompany the needs of our singer/guitarist for the ceremony. He was very attentive to song requests and downloaded any songs he did not have into his music library. Teresa was a terrific wedding coordinator and so pleasant to work with. Our friends and family just loved her. She remembered the minor details of the wedding, such as, a Kleenex box placed under the mother of the bride's chair, adding an additional chair to the aisle to accommodate a family member, and making sure the groom and groomsmen had their boutonnières. Not only did this wedding bring us lots of joy, but new friends. We are proud to call Tommy and Teresa our friends and the next time we are in Southport we are meeting for lunch at Provisions!"

For the past four years, Tommy and Shoresound have provided services for Junior Achievement’s annual Beach Bowl bowl-a-thon fundraising event. Held early on a Saturday morning in early February, those planning the event must rely on a dependable, flexible and professional provider of entertainment activities. Tommy has become the “life of Beach Bowl” due to his skills with music, group games, prize distribution and announcements. The bowlers enjoy the music he plays and I appreciate his willingness to help to design a play list that compliments our theme each year…whether it is Hawaiian, wintry Beach Blizzard or beach tunes. He gets everyone into the aisles dancing and having fun!
I have come to rely upon Tommy’s calm nature and his ability to respond to changes in the schedule. It makes me know that as long as Shoresound is there…the event will be successful.
