From original and rhythm & blues favorites, to standards of the 40’s and 50’s, to 70’s and 80’s dance music, to today’s country and pop favorites, The Pat Carpenter Band can satisfy the most discriminating audience, and create a fun atmosphere for your function. The band currently works throughout the southeast performing corporate and private functions as well as weddings, festivals, and many club dates throughout the year. Pat Carpenter, founder of the band, also works as a free lance engineer and producer at his recording studio in Charlotte, NC.
Over the last few years, Pat has been on the beach music charts with songs like “Each and Every Kiss,” “Baby Let the Good Times Roll,” “On & Off,” and “Lucky Lucky Me.” In 1996 Pat also won the Cammy Award for Industry Engineer of the Year for his work with the Breeze Band on their album “Second Wind.” That combined effort and hard work also led Pat to receive the Cammy Award for album of the year for “Second Wind.”
Considered by many of his peers as one of the finest vocalists in the southeast, Pat has toured extensively with many different bands. In the past he has been one of the lead vocalists and guitarists for “The Poor Soul’s Band as well as “The Tempest.” Pat has played drums and sung with “The Catalinas’”, “The Dancing Machine,” “Rendezvous,” and “The Coasters” to name a few.
